William Grey is a seasoned attorney with extensive experience in tort litigation. He serves as Of Counsel to the firm. With a legal career spanning nearly two decades, Mr. Grey has consistently demonstrated a commitment to advocating for individuals who have suffered due to the negligence of others.
Mr. Grey’s legal journey began at the NYC Law Department, where he honed his litigation skills in the Tort Division. Starting as a Pre-Trial Attorney in 2007, he advanced to the role of Trial Attorney by 2011. During this period, he first-chaired numerous tort trials in New York State Supreme Court, handling cases involving constitutional claims, false arrest, false imprisonment, motor vehicle accidents, premises liability, intentional torts, negligence, and more. His adeptness in navigating complex legal issues and his dedication to client advocacy were evident early in his career.
In 2014, Mr. Grey transitioned to the Labor and Employment Division within the NYC Law Department, where he continued to excel as a Trial Attorney and later as a Supervisor. He first-chaired federal and state jury trials in the Southern and Eastern Districts of New York and co-supervised a team of 35 attorneys responsible for all labor and employment hearings and trials for the City of New York. His extensive experience included preparing witnesses, drafting motions, selecting juries, and presenting complex, high-profile cases. This role further refined his litigation skills and deepened his understanding of the intricacies of trial advocacy.
In 2022, Mr. Grey joined Proskauer Rose LLP as an Attorney in the Labor & Employment department. Here, he represented employers across a spectrum of federal and state litigations, arbitrations, and administrative proceedings.
At Stavros E. Sitinas, LLC, Mr. Grey continues to focus on plaintiff’s personal injury litigation. His practice areas include automotive accidents, construction accidents, products liability, and wrongful death cases. He is committed to providing personalized, dedicated service, ensuring that each client receives the attention and representation they deserve.
Mr. Grey is admitted to practice in New York State, as well as the Eastern and Southern Districts of New York. He holds a Juris Doctor from Brooklyn Law School, where he was a member of the Moot Court Honor Society and graduated in the top of his class. He also earned a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from Virginia Tech.
